Genealogy 101 Workshop

  • Saint Albans Museum to Host Genealogy 101 Workshop on September 16 - Have you always wanted to learn more about your family's roots?   Local genealogist, Joanne Polanshek, will be on hand in the Bliss Room at the Saint Albans Museum on September 16 at 1pm to help guide you in exploring your family tree. She will provide research tips and tricks, resources about where to find information, and review all that's necessary to get you on your way.  Polanshek is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists. ​ "Researching our family history is one of the most powerful ways to connect with the past," said Alex Lehning, Executive Director of the Saint Albans Museum. "This special workshop will help provide community members with the resources necessary to learn more about who they are and where they came from."  This workshop is free and open to the public; reservations are requested.
