  • 7/26 & 7/27  Grand Isle Video Filming and Editing Workshop-  LCATV staff will be teaching video and editing basics for kids age 10-17 years old at the Grand Isle Free Library in this 2 day intensive workshop, which will be divided into 2 parts.  Day 1: Participants will learn to set up a camera and tripod, go over basic camera shots and film short projects of their own creation after a short discussion about what makes a good video.  Day 2: Participants will have the chance to edit their footage from the previous day and learn editing techniques on Adobe Premiere Pro editing software.  We will go over removing mistakes or extra footage from your videos, rearranging footage that may have been shot in the wrong order, adding titles and sound effects, speeding up or slowing down footage and reversing footage so that it runs backward.  If participants have other editing effects that they wish to learn we will try to accommodate if the software and time permit. Finished projects will air on LCATV's channel 16.  This workshop takes place from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  For more information or to participate sign up with the Grand Isle Free Library.  Space is limited, so advanced sign up is required.
