The Joe Levesque Big Band (Joe's Big Band) is a 17 piece band made up of a rhythm section, vocalist, Trumpets, Trombones and Saxophones. All professional musicians! Our music includes the standards made famous by bands like Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington. We provide Jazz in a Big Way! Dancers are always encouraged but a concert venue works as well. He shares information on the ongoing and future research efforts of the LCMM related to the Revolutionary War.
The Citizens Concert Band has a full complement of brass, percussion and woodwinds. They play a toe-tapping, hand-clapping performance for young and old. They are well known to many in northwestern Vermont, having a history dating back to 1947. It began as an American Legion Band with concerts drawing huge crowds in Taylor Park in St. Albans. The band has been going strong ever since, playing a popular series of summer concerts in Franklin County and here in Grand Isle for Island Arts! https://www.islandarts.org/
The Michele Fay Band opens the 2018 Summer Concert Series for Island Arts on Sunday, July 15th. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for picnicking with concert at 6:30 p.m. Island Arts is an all volunteer organization and for more than 30 years have donated thousands of dollars to support creative arts scholarships for youth and the 5 schools in Grand Isle County. Your attendance is an excellent way to support their work while having an enjoyable evening with family and friends. As always, youth 12 and under are admitted free.
For nearly 10 years, the Michele Fay Band has been perfecting their craft and have become popular entertainers throughout the area. Backup musicians are Kalev Freeman on fiddle, Michael Santosusso on upright bass, and Tom Price on mandolin and guitar. The band’s “a little bit country” performances are both energetic and appeal to a wide range of audience. Its growing musical skills are increasingly being well received throughout the region as it continues to gather well deserved recognition and popularity.

Exciting their audience with their high energy, high impact show, The Shana Stack Band features multi-national award winning vocalist Shana Stack, and Nashville Songwriter’s Association International member, Ed Leavitt, the male vocalist and songwriter of the group. The group focuses on new Top 40 Country, and original music written by Ed Leavitt. One of Ed’s songs, “Let it Go”, has been featured in the movie Compliance which was released nationwide in the summer of 2012 by Magnolia pictures.
