"USO Canteen" Swing Dance Fundraiser at the Saint Albans Museum on September 21
The Saint Albans Museum is pleased to announce our Swing Dance Fundraiser on Saturday, September 21 in the Bliss Room from 6-8pm, featuring the Weed Imperial Orchestra led by Eric Bushey.
Step back in time to the big-band era as we recreate an evening at the "USO Canteen" - including live music, dance lessons, and more. All ages and dancing abilities are welcome - or simply enjoy listening to the sounds of yesteryear! Tickets are only $15/each (available online and at the door) and include "ration coupons" for period refreshments: sandwiches, coffee, and doughnuts. Costumes are encouraged! Proceeds will benefit the Museum's educational and public programming.
