Description: In this class, students learn the basics of creating cartoons, caricatures and drawings for children’s books or graphic novels. Topics covered include: creating a cartoon character, exaggerating faces for caricatures, setting up a cartoon strip, writing dialog balloons, setting up a gag, using model sheets, adding colors and inks, and drawing cartoons using a graphic tablet and computer.
