The Green Mountain Mahler Festival combines forces with the Burlington Civic Symphony and the South Burlington Community Chorus, with additional musicians from the Champlain Philharmonic Orchestra, for two performances of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 The Resurrection. Conductor Daniel Bruce will lead a large orchestra and chorus in this powerful work, with chorusmaster Matthew LaRocca and vocal soloists Melissa Dickerson and Wendy Hoffman on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 7:30 pm at the Elley-Long Music Center in Colchester and Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe.
