Hulapalooza – Friday, June 29th from 2 to 5 p.m.
St. Albans - St. Paul’s United Methodist Church is inviting the public to hoop its way to Abundant Health when Hulapalooza comes to Kids Fest 2018. The free family festivities, with a fun hula-hoop theme, will be held at Taylor Park. Prior hooping experience is not required for the event, whose aim is to promote mental, physical and spiritual well-being for all ages. The day’s activities will include hoop games and prizes and a mission for kids who choose to participate. Hulapalooza, which launched April 7, 2018, in conjunction with United Nations’ World Health Day, was initially celebrated at four global sites: New York City, Berlin, Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Zimbabwe. Hulapalooza is one expression of the Abundant Health movement, the global health initiative of The United Methodist Church, led by the Global Health unit of Global Ministries.
