The Log School House at Airport Park, 500 Colchester Point Road in Colchester, is now open for the season! Hours are 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Fridays - Mondays, all summer. You will find yourself transported to a late 1800s, early 1900s one-room schoolhouse with many furnishings and artifacts from that period. Children can even write on slates with chalk as their ancestors once did. This lovely historical site and visitor center garners thousands of visitors over the season. Parking and admission are free; donations are always appreciated.
