At a mobile home housing co-op in Burlington’s North End, Rep. Welch discusses his initiative to assist low-income mobile homeowners. His bipartisan legislation, which recently passed the House, expands Section 8 federal housing assistance to cover mobile homeowners’ previously ineligible expenses, including property taxes, insurance, and utilities. He will be joined at the event by Mayor Miro Weinberger and affordable housing leaders.
